Downtown Coolsville

So I really want the robe that Dean wears in this scene. It comes to just above the knee, is dark red with black trim, and has a yin-yang on the back. I plan on making it, but don’t know what kind of fabric to use. Something soft but not fluffy or too heavy, which rules out fleece and minky fabrics. I considered flannel, but remembered that I don’t like the texture. Maybe suede or one of those heavier silky solids from JoAnn?

EDIT: Ooooor I could make a hoodie based off this robe.
